The Oh! Lokal team is responsible for processing data on this site. You can reach us at hello@lokal.nl.

Business information (name, category, city, address, description, website, socials, phone). This is published on the map and directory after review.

Applicant contact details (name, email, phone) — only when an owner adds their own business. These are not published and are used to contact you about your submission.

Recommendations: if you recommend someone else's business, we do not collect your personal contact details.

Technical data: your chosen interface language is stored in your browser (localStorage), and the server keeps basic request logs for security.

Consent — when you submit an application or a recommendation, you consent to processing the data provided.

Legitimate interest — running the directory, following up on submissions, and protecting the service from spam and abuse.

Publish approved businesses on the map and in the directory.

Contact applicants about their submission.

Rate-limit form submissions to prevent spam.

We do not sell your data. We use third-party providers only to operate the service: hosting and database (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), map tiles (OpenFreeMap), and site hosting.

These providers process data on our behalf and only as needed to run the service.

Submissions are kept until reviewed and for a reasonable period afterwards. Published businesses remain on the map until you or the owner asks us to remove them.

Under EU law (GDPR) you have the right to access, correct, and delete your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@lokal.nl.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is your chosen interface language.
